Spring Break
I didn't do all that much over spring break. For the most part I just worked, played video games, and slept... a lot. On thursday I visited the West Virginia University campus, which was pretty fun and further secured my decision to go there. Finally I went to King's Island on saturday with two of my friends. Driving there and back wasn't too fun but it was worth it for the rides and the awesome blue ice cream.

Skills USA
The Skills USA trip was pretty fun, you know, except for the skills USA part. Nobody from our school placed in anything. Some of us deserved it though. When it came time for the awards ceremony we quickly discovered it was all politics. Quite a few James Rumsey students won gold in their categories, yet they won almost nothing last year. Perhaps that's because it was held at James Rumsey.

My Game Progress
The game is coming along very nicely at a pretty good pace. The rain forest level is totally complete, sound, code, and all. I have now started work on the alternative energy level in which you convince certain people from the past to start using alternative energy to avoid global warming. I am feeling more confident that we can totally finish the game by the end of the year now.

My life after high school
After high school I plan on going to West Virginia University for either four or five years. I am going to major in software engineering but I may double major in computer science as well. After that I have no plan at all. I have no idea where I will end up living, who I will work for, etc. But, I'd be willing to bet that I won't be living around here as the software engineering job market around here is pretty much non-existent.

Game Progress
Our game is still moving along. Progress is slow but it's coming together. The rain forest level is finally complete, including code, and I think it is the first finished level. There are others that are almost done being drawn but have no or almost no code. Hopefully we will be able to get more levels drawn and then coded. I think that we might be able to complete everything we wanted to by the end of the year.

SV Ignorance
I'm not 100% sure what started the recent fight at our school. Some people say it was racism, some say it would have happened regardless. I have to think it was probably a combination of the two. If it was fueled at all by racism than that is ridiculous and it goes to show how ignorant people can be. If it wasn't fueled by racism and it was just a normal fight, then everyone that says it was caused by racism is ignorant. Either way our school is gonna come out with a bad rap.

Travel
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would want to go to imagination land. I would go there so that I could so all of my imaginations living together in a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately there would also be everyone elses imaginations there and they would probably wage wars with each other. Manbearpig would by far be the biggest concern but also there would be shark bears and pteryosarus-rexs.

Game Progress
Our game is coming along nicely. It has been pretty slow so far but the rain forest level is completely drawn and just needs the rest of the coding now. I believe that the maze level is also completely drawn other than a few touch ups that are needed. It may be difficult to fully complete the game by the end of the year, so we may end up cutting a level or two, but hopefully that is not necessary

My favorite class
My favorite class is this. That's right mechanical drafting. This class was by far the best class this semester. I learned alot in this class about stuff. It was also very fun while being learntastic as well. This is one of the few classes that I have ever actually wanted to attend. This class was great.
About my game
My game was duck hunt technology. You answered the technology questions by shooting the duck that corresponds with the correct letter of the answer. There is scoring, ammo, and health to make it a fun game to play while it also teaches you about technology. It was a pretty good game.

Time Machine
If I could travel back in time to one era and live there forever, I would go from 1965-1975. I would probably become a hippie and do a lot of drugs because, who didn't back then? Also I would go to the best concert ever in the history of mankind, woodstock. Going to woodstock would be the most amazing thing ever. I mean seriously it was the best lineup of bands and it lasted like a week or so.
